Recently, I had the opportunity to reconnect with Tanner and his mom during his senior session. I was first introduced to them last year when I photographed their family, so I was excited to catch up. These guys are so genuine and I loved spending time with them!
Unfortunately, I don't get to photograph guys very often which is a shame since moments like these are some that I know they'll treasure. And if the latter doesn't prove to be true, I know it will make mom happy to look back at pictures like these.
I know that no one likes posed awkward sessions that seem never ending so my goal in life and especially during sessions is to have fun and make it an enjoyable experience for everyone involved. Sometimes smiles and laughter come at my expense, but I am perfectly okay with that!
Tanner did great though! Honestly, he killed it! And by the end of the session, Tanner was a pro in front of the camera. We truly had the ideal set up with a camera that is shooting amazing pictures, to the beautiful greenery we were surrounded by at our location. I got so carried away looking back on pictures during the session that I accidentally called the pictures "pretty" and then fumbled apologizing for calling a guy's pictures pretty...YIKES!
So guys, taking senior pictures isn't too bad. Just ask Tanner! And if anything, do it for your mom (take note Carden and Lincoln!). Tanner will be going to college in the fall and pursuing business...congrats Tanner!
