2018 is wrapping up for my #KBSeniors and I could not be more excited for them. They are graduating, moving on and conquering new things. Before they know it, they will be packing up and headed to college and entering as a "freshman" all over again...no worries though...it's totally different than being a high school freshman!
Congrats to this girl who I had a blast with at our senior session this past spring. I mean not only is she gorgeous with those beautiful blonde waves and that contagious smile but she also reminds me of one of my favorite bible verses:
She is clothed with strength
and dignity and she laughs
without fear of the future.
Rayna, thank you so much for giving me the opportunity to capture some of my favorite senior pictures! You made this session so fun by just going with me and trusting me.
I wish you the best of luck as you start college and I encourage you to think about the words that Proverbs 31:25 say. Think about what it means to be strong. What does it mean or look like to be clothed with dignity? And, what does it mean to laugh without fear of the future?
I cannot wait to see what the future will hold for you!
Thanks for reading!

So here's a little fun fact: Texas is one of three states with the most twin births!
Like I mentioned in my last blog, it was only a matter of time that I had twin clients. Now that I know this fact to be true, I shouldn't be at all surprised that spring 2018 brought not just one but TWO twin senior sessions! Emily & Katelyn aren't just twins, they're sisters and best friends :).
For this session, we went to a new location which did not disappoint. In fact, it was a dream! The massive trees and waterfalls that surrounded us made us feel like we were in the middle of a rain forest and we were blessed with the PERFECT day! Mom joined us and that always makes my heart happy because it shows just how much she's taking in these special moments. I'll probably be JUST LIKE HER!
I'm super grateful that these girls allowed me the opportunity to be goofy with them (but they really didn't have much of a choice...hahaha). The fact that I lost my voice by the end of the session made our time together even more hilarious.
As far as their next season, these girls are going to be conquering college together!!! One will be pursuing Nursing while the other Kinesiology. And, it get sweeter...they will be joining their other sister!
My main advice for these ladies was to make friends not boyfriends. Thanks Emily & Katelyn for allowing me to be a small part of such a big time in your life! Enjoy college, have fun and learn lots!
It was only a matter of time before I had the opportunity to photograph twins but when two sets of twins came my way this year, I just giggled. I've always been intrigued by the special bond twins seem to have and Taylor and Reagan are no different. You'll see what I mean when you scroll down and see their pictures together! That special bond is apparent even in pictures!
Taylor and Reagan are naturally beautiful girls with hair to envy. Those beach waves flowed beautifully in the wind :) and we all just had such a great time together. Quickly, we found out that we had a lot in common...even our taste in music! Let's just say that we instantly bonded...hahaha.
I couldn't believe that these two would be entering college this fall at two different schools in two different states. Can I just say that I am thankful that FaceTime exists!?!?! I know that if they're anything like my sisters and I, it will be their lifeline!
Taylor and Reagan, I had a BLAST with you two! In just a few VERY SHORT weeks you will be graduating, ending a chapter in your life and starting a new journey. Like I tell all my seniors, be sure to stop and smell the roses and take in as much as you can these next few weeks because it goes by way too fast. Best of luck as you both pursue your own careers in Marketing and PT. I'm so excited to see where you will go! Be sure to stay in touch...
And now, for a peek at some of my favs from this session. These are just a handful and quite honestly it was hard to chose just a handful because there were so many good ones!
Thanks for reading and be on the look out for the next twin session!
